  • Condition - Pristine condition. Printed from two plates, joined. Pasted on linen. With restoration to the original folds, where the sheet was folded into the atlas, but overall a nice example. With later colour.

A wonderful example of this very decorative and detailed large scale map of Ireland by Herman Moll. 

 

12 inset plans of the towns of Dublin, Cork, Kinsale, Limerick, Waterford and Galway, and of the Giants' Causeway. There is also an inset map and descriptive details of St. Patricks Purgatory in "Dunnagall".

 

Panels of text, provide further detail. Of particular interest are the listings of various  countrywide barracks and the troops stationed in each. 

 

Inset map of British Isles and coasts of Northern European countries up as far as Sweden.  

 

Collectable Large Map in Pristine Condition.
