Interesting fragment of Irish business ephemera, an interesting letter, where discounts and lower prices are mentioned on a number of occasions.

 

There is also an enquiry regarding Kelly's lowest prices for hogsheads of claret, 'I don't want any, but may in time, perhaps you could let me know what wine is used at the College of Maynooth for the Altar, and by Clergymen in thy neighbourhood". Attractive item!
