Fine Cork townplan by John Tallis (John Tallis & Co, London & New York) of the city of Cork.

The map features 4 wonderful vignette illustrations of various landmarks, including Blackrock Castle, Blarney Castle, Queenstown Harbour (Cove of Cork) and The old Weir Bridge, Killarney. Uncoloured

The map extends from the Military Prison and Barracks, Youghal Rd. on the north side of the city, to the County Gaol and Queen's College, Mardyke Walk, Western Rd, Bandon Rd on the south side.

The plan was drawn and engraved by John Rapkin. The Illustrations Drawn and engraved by H.Bibby. Decorative engraved borders. Scarce.
