Dublin Booksellers List

A 'stock on hand' list from Hodges Smith And Co Booksellers to Messrs. Wm.Blackwood & Sons, dated 1869. Prices and number of books. Crests on letterhead include Royal Dublin Society and the Royal Irish Academy. Interesting to note that the company were "Agents for the Sale of the Ordnance Trignometrical Survey of Ireland"

Of great interest to social historians should be the list of books named on the document, as it gives a good insight into what the reading tastes of the Victorian-era Ireland were like. Sold with all faults.
