Large Original 6'' Map of Dublin. 

Extremely large folding map produced for inclusion in Thom's Directory.

Incredibly detailed, it was produced on a scale of Six Inches to One Statute Mile. The striking colours are used for city ward identification, with the ward colour references presented in a table just inside the bottom left corner. 

An attractive large map of late 19th century Dublin on a scale which should be of interest to many collectors. The map will however need some care and attention, to stop it wearing each time it is opened. Re-backing is one possibility, but it should be carried out by a person versed in conservation mounting, and using the appropriate materials.
