Attractive Early 20th Century Globe

An attractive and unusual 14 inch globe, by George F.Cram Co. of Indianapolis, c.1938, with unusual wooden base and housing. Metal dial.

Uncommon globe due to the ocean areas being presented in bright yellow colour, which although attractive, was a radical departure against convention of the traditional greens. Most modern day globes have ocean areas as blue. Good detail on pre-war Europe, and Asia.

Globe in very good condition with a wonderful patina, and strong colours. A good addition to any collection.

Attractive and Decorative
